SENIOR ENVIRONMENTAL & MINING GEOLOGIST
Mr. Hunt has more than 40 years in managing projects in the military, mining, geothermal energy, and environmental areas. He has managed numerous ground-water development projects, including the water-related portions of large privately funded U.S. environmental base-line study for industrial, municipal, and governmental clients. Many projects involved conducting original geological, geophysical and hydrological research, coupled with on-the-ground management of drilling crews and large construction crews. He developed protocols and innovative, cost-effective work plans and managed the subsequent remediation of contaminated soil and ground water sites for major U.S. oil, chemical and mining firms, and several governmental agencies.
He also is experienced in the fields of asbestos, lead-based paint, mold and IAQ consulting. He has designed and directed large-scale asbestos and lead-based paint inspections and microbial investigations and written technical reports describing the results of these investigations. He has developed detailed technical specifications for and managed large-scale abatements of asbestos and lead-based paint containing materials and mold.
As a certified Indoor Air Quality Manager he has coordinated with Industrial Hygiene professionals to conduct microbial and indoor air quality investigations. He is the company's quality control manager insuring that consistent, high-quality products are provided to the company’s clients He also serves as the Company's Risk Manager, Insurance Coordinator and Training Director.
He presently plays a significant role as Project Manager in Mining, Geothermal Energy and Environmental activities for I2M Associates, and he serves in a variety of support functions, including property evaluations, exploration and development functions and associated activities.
